K & K Hardwood Floor

Kookie came highly referred by a client of mine Who has used her for two separate refinishing projects. Im very glad I used her and her team. Not only was pricing fair, but she was communicative and timely with the work. She completed a full sand and refinish of my floors, and left very little dust. There were one or two small areas that the floors had been raised from cupping, and she sanded and used wood filler to fix the holes. Thank you kookie and your team.

My floors look amazing. Had Kitchen, Dining Room, Hallway and Living Room finished. We were very pleased with the time line and costs. Very little inconvienence for our family.

If I had the option I would have given zero stars. I usually wont post a negative review unless I feel its truly warranted and this certainly is. We had this company come out and quote us to completely refinish our hardwood floors throughout the house. After being forgot about for our first appointment we decided to still give them a chance. We talked about color, technique, time frame, everything. We booked out a week which we are on a very strict timeframe and they agreed to work with the dates. We received a phone call today from the lady stating she cant do the job because our floors are laminated (which they are not, paperwork to prove). She claimed her guy said they were, which this guy has never stepped foot into our house to physically determined whether they were or not. I tried to explain to her that they are real hardwood floors and she argued back with me saying I need to find a new company. So now we have less than 2 weeks to find a new company, have them quote the job and be able to do the job on the week that we have available. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever attempted to work with. The lack of consideration this lady gave our situation AFTER booking the job with us and not hearing from her for two weeks she now decides she cant complete the job. Do yourselves a favor guys, hire a real company who is professional and doesnt argue back with you after they completely blew you off on your first scheduled appointment.

Verbal price quote was better than everyone else's so I had them do my floor. By the end of the work the price rose (Get quote in writing first!). They also don't come when they say they will, and don't call to say as much, which is very unprofessional not to mention frustrating! Rude when you call them out on these things. Floor lost its sheen quickly. I went with a different company to do another room and was told K&K did not do the standard industry 3 coats of polyurethane, which is why their pricing sounds good, and why my floor faded so fast. I had to have this floor sanded and varnished over again because dirt had gotten into the cracks due to the lack of polyurethane, so in the end it cost double what I thought I was saving. The floor now looks beautiful; you get what you pay for.
