My family had used another funeral home in the area for several years. I was unsatisfied with my last experience because I felt that my grief was ignored. Everything about my experience with John, Roberta, and the staff at Costigan-Oneill was exemplary. My father passed away from Parkinsons Disease, and he suffered quite a bit, so I was very concerned about how he would appear. I personally received a call from John during which he eased all of my fears. My father looked handsome and at peace. I was treated with respect and kindness every step of the way. Never once did I feel like just another customer. My calls were answered, concerns were addressed, and stress was alleviated. I was guided through the entire process with care. Its never easy to lose a loved one but when you lose your mother suddenly, it leaves a devastating hole in your heart. Trying to juggle grief and handling a funeral can be extremely difficult if youre not in the right hands, but I can honestly say that I have nothing but admiration for ONeill funeral home and every single one of their staff members. Ive been to many funerals, and Ive seen disasters happen which only added to my anxiety having to be in charge to make sure my mother is laid to rest how she would have wanted. From the second I met the staff at ONeill until my mother was laid to rest, I received nothing but compassion, professionalism, patience, guidance, and complete support. I cannot thank the staff enough for the beautiful job they did, my mother looked so beautiful, and the setup was amazing. I will be planning my fathers departure through ONeill when the time comes. Thank you endlessly for an amazing job, I will be recommending you to anyone looking to send their loved ones home with dignity and grace. RIP mom
