I made an appointment for two recalls on my 2017 Nissan Rogue. I had a key had had broken in the ignition (one of the recalls was r/t the key folding and turning the engine off). This was occurring and when I went to grab the key when it was folding in the ignition and turning the car off, the key broke. I was told that the recall does not cover the cost of a broken key, which I do not understand since the key broke because it was "folding" in the ignition and turning the car off, and I went to grab it to prevent it from turning the engine off...and it broke in the ignition...clearly related to the recall. So, I had to purchase a new key. I still had a remote, so the rep said she would double check that the remote was working, and she confirmed it was before the work was done. At the end of the day when I got home after driving over an hour each way, and tried to use the remote, it did not work. When I called the customer service rep, she said the technician forgot to reprogram the remote after reprograming the key. In addition, as I said above, one of the car filters was supposedly clean according to the technician, but when I asked the rep to check it again, she came inside with a filter covered in animal fur, hair etc. The customer service people were not accommodating. The service took 3+ hours when I was told 1-2 hours.Even the supervisor was rude at times. I bought the car here but will not return.

Von is wonderful of course he is a salesperson but he is down to earth without pressure. Hell take the time to explain the technology in the newer vehicles and answer any questions I had. Service department is great to deal with, Shawn is a well of information, knowledgeable and courteous. In the past couple of weeks I have had to go back for service a few times for various issues with my Rogue but both have been addressed. I have purchased 4 vehicles from Anchor so I guess I am a returning customer but I dont think I will go back for a fifth vehicle. Being a returning customer I feel my loyalty doesnt mean much as far as getting a better deal on a vehicle in appreciation without me having to haggle. But whats done is done.
