St Paul's Thrift Shop

I have been shopping at and donating to St Pauls for a few years now. Its a small but very clean thrift store with a good selection of items. As of late, however, their inventory has become pretty thin, which I believe is due to the shops languid approach towards the customers who regularly frequent the shop, which ultimately has effected these same customers donations. After all my time donating and shopping at St Pauls, the staff has never bothered to learn my name or even ask what it is. Theres also little to no acknowledgement by them while in the shop, much less having them initiate a hello. Because of this, Ive limited my visits and have completely stopped any donations. I think others may feel as I do given the recent lack of inventory in the store. One might argue that charitable donations are down in general, but I havent seen a decline in other thrift shops I visit.

It's pretty good as thrift shops go. You never quite know what you'll find as there's some pretty unusual and antique items donated in this area. I've been pretty impressed by some of the art and paintings, and they often have markdowns of them. It's definitely worth a browser if you're a recycled treasure hunter.
