The Cliffside Inn

Phenomenal location walking-distance from a cliff walk entrance, many restaurants, and even the Wharf. The vibe felt cozy and inviting with modern amenities. Breakfast was excellent and we greatly appreciated the convenience of having bottled water, French press coffee, tea, and light snacks always available.

We had such an amazing time at the Cliffside inn. From checking in with Peter, who went above and beyond with my special request, to breakfast the next morning. The grounds are beautiful, they had the fireplace going all day! And the place itself was out of this world. We stay in the Loft room and it was such an experience, the room was pristine and comfortable. The fireplace in the main area was a nice touch! Rooms: The room was a vibe! The fireplace, motorized shades, spa tub and shower were amazing! Nearby activities: The hotel is located in a quiet dead end street with direct access to the cliff walk and many of the Newport attractions.

Went here for my birthday,first time weve been. The staff are amazing,the inn is beautiful. Nice area and easy to find. Within walking distance to a ton of food and drinks and stores. Sits right atop the Cliff walkamazing views and walk. Definitely check this inn out if youre in the area. Rooms: We had the Atlantic suite. Nice furnishings,private entrance,extra large jet tub,walk in glass shower,gas fireplace,skylights in both bath and bedroom lots of room in the sitting area and the bedroom. Little semi private area by the front door to sit. Beautiful view of the water from the room. Nearby activities: It took 10-20 mins to walk to food and drink and shops. Was a nice walk the entire way. Easy to find places. Walkability: You can walk everywhere. The Cliff walk is right at the end of the street as well. Food & drinks: The breakfast at the inn is hands down the best breakfast weve had at an inn. Both days were different items,fresh and hot. Noteworthy details: We ordered a charcuterie board one night for the roomso worth it. Im allergic to certain foods and they accommodated all of them. Also had a cake,balloons and champagne delivered. Cake was great. They have an outdoor fire pit that we enjoyed for a little even with the rain. The staff are amazingJojo was the best. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic. I can only imagine how much nicer this inn is during the summer.
