The Shore House

This place was incredible. My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon there and they treated us so well. The room was so pretty and had a partial view of the ocean, which, as you can see from the photo, was lovely to have to look at each morning. The rooms were cleaned so nicely for us each day and the main lobby was charming. The bar drinks were spectacular, and we especially enjoyed drinking them in the outdoor seating area. We didnt get the chance to eat a meal there, but will for sure try something next time. Would 100% recommend staying here!!

My husband and I stayed at the Shore House in 2022 and 2023. The rooms were spotless, food was fantastic and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. View of the ocean was right outside our window. Highly recommend!!!!!

Beautiful location and gorgeous views from the main house. Plenty of parking, and straightforward to get to. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, stylish and well appointed.

Would be five star if I only based this on rooms in the actual shore house - the actual shore house is wonderful and as-advertised. Our second visit we were in the back building which is basically an overpriced motel. Rooms were small, beds uncomfortable, walls paper thin, plus a street light that shines directly into all the ocean-facing rooms (which sucks at night for sleeping.) Only good thing about the back building is that some rooms face the ocean with an unobstructed view but not worth the ridiculous price for motel 6-level accomodations. That building was definitely a money-grab trying to leverage the great value from the actual, original shore house building. Pay the extra $$ and stay in the shore house building - that is worth it but not the back-building. Rooms: Rooms in the actual shore house building are great Rooms in the back building are an overpriced motel. Read the descriptions carefully and make sure you stay in the shore house!! Walkability: Right on the water with lots of restaurants and shops within a half-mile walk along the shore... Great location! Noteworthy details: MAKE SURE YOU READ THE ROOM DESCRIPTION If it doesn't mention the shore house building be prepared for an unpleasant back-building stay that is more a one-star motel than a three -star hotel
