As first-time home buyers (and new to the area), we were expecting the process of securing a mortgage to be much more challenging. John and the Province team were an amazing resource -- they were in communication every step of the way and went out of their way to make sure we were well-informed, comfortable with the process, and had all the resources we needed to make the best decisions as we closed (quickly and relatively painlessly) on our home. I first spoke to John back in July of 2023 after being referred to him by a good family friend. I was in the beginning stages of my separation and really wanted to be able to keep our home for my son and I. I had no idea if this would even be something feasible for me and had no idea where to start or what I would need to do. My first time speaking to John, he was extremely attentive, informative, and realistic. We spoke about where I currently was financially, and he gave me a realistic idea of what I would need to provide in order to see how we could reach the end goal. Something that I appreciate whole heartedly about John is his honestly and realism, you dont find that very often these days and I appreciate it immensely. He was honest that it was possible, but not without the hard work and dedication that was necessary. Both John and his entire team at Province Mortgage followed me through every step, the good ones and the bad ones. My situation was not easy, had many bumps in the road due to many circumstances, and they never not once didnt have my back or stop supporting me through all of it. I truly cannot recommend John and his team enough, and I am happy to say I am now a proud homeowner and was able to keep my sons home for him to continue growing up in! None of this would have been possible without Johns help, pushing me to get myself to where I needed to be and all the support! Thank you guys so much!

I've been fortunate enough to purchase two properties in my lifetime, and both transactions were handled by John. I initially chose John because I had heard he was the best and needed an incredible team to close on my first property. The last thing I wanted was unnecessary drama. Now, as we complete our second closing, I'm hopeful that I can consider John Faria a "professional friend" of mine, if that's even a thing. I've already shared his Calendly link with friends and family who are considering buying properties. I trust John to work with them to find the best loan type for their needs and explain the entire process. At this point, I trust John to do what is right. I'm not sure when I'll be moving next, but when that happens, I just hope John hasn't retired yet because I know I'll want him on my A team. :) If you're reading this and are in the Rhode Island area, I highly recommend the team I assembled for my latest closing.
