Contractors Insurance Services

I have been going to this insurance Carrier for about 15 years and have had nothing but good to say about this company. They are very friendly, very helpful. And I would not trust my insurance with any other compas a Carrier.

On February 5th 2024 I received a call from them about our auto policy. We have a total of four policies with them. Woman stated that my policy was going to be canceled for non-payment. We had changed debit cards and forgot to notify them. To resolve any future problems. I gave them my checking account routing numbers to take payments directly out of checking on February 5th to the tune of 600 in change and I thought everything was all set even after asking the woman to please make sure I cannot afford any more screw ups like this and she assured me that it would be taking care of. Fast forward to February 12th. I get a call from them saying my policy is canceled because of non-payment but yet on the same day they took out money from my account. I thought I was canceled for non-payment? Why would they go in my account and take my money after they cancel my insurance. Call them up. Couldn't get anywhere with the woman so I asked to speak with the owner and he got on and I explained the situation to him and he told me that long story short I need to just pay to get it reinstated which is not a problem. However, this is not the first time. I cannot afford these screw-ups with my insurance policies. They refused to work with me and I warned the owner that I will not let this drop and I will protest his business and I did. He said there was nothing I could do about it. Well I sort of proved him wrong when I showed up at his business with proof from my bank that the insurance company took my money and then I calmly walked outside to the sidewalk on public property and started protesting. He came out and said he was willing to work with me all of a sudden too late. I already started my process. He threatens a call to police. I told him go ahead. It's a civil matter. I'm exercising my first amendment right on a public sidewalk and sure enough to very nice officers from East Providence showed up and asked me what was going on and I told him and I also stated my first amendment right and they 100% agreed. I'm totally within my rights to protest on a public sidewalk. However, the two officers did ask me if I would kindly move on just to save the day and I agreed. But I will be back two three times a week if I have to until they make this situation right and a written apology.
