I do all my transactions by telephone, and the results have been very satisfactory. Never the best way to do business, but I now live too far away to stop by your office in person. Carry on!

Simone & team are not helpful nor do they set the right expectations upfront with customers. They do not take the time to walk you through what the process of switching providers will entail. A perfect example: Just this May, I reached out to Simone to gauge what pricing would like for a home/auto bundle. My home insurance renewal was beginning of this June. I explained to Simone that if the bundle made sense from a price standpoint, I would be willing to move providers for my Primary Home, Secondary Home, Secondary Home Flood Insurance & Engagement Ring Insurance. To add, not only would I be bringing 4 new policies to their firm, I had already explained upfront that my intent was to add auto insurance within the next 1-2 months given my plan was to let my current lease run out and buy a new vehicle hence my interest in the bundle in the first place... Simone reassured me that if I entered my home insurance policies now, I would then be able to add my auto afterwards which would SAVE ME 35% on my home insurance. Fast forward to today, I call Simone's office and explain that I just bought my new car and would like to add it to my policy! They proceed to tell me that there is a new rule for MA drivers that requires 5 consecutive years worth of driving history in the state of MA otherwise they won't write you a policy. I thought this was strange because Simone never mentioned that but thought to myself "shouldn't be an issue as I have always had insurance". Long story short, they look up the RMV registry and tell me for some reason there is a 60 day gap in insurance back in 2020. After calling my previous broker & the provider, I got my hands on the declaration sheet indicating that I did have insurance at that time. Simones office agreed this was the evidence they needed. THEN they come back afterwards and say "we need your records from 2016 & 2017 (SAFECO & NGN) because "even though we are able to see it on the registry as having insurance those years, we cannot use that info because its illegal to use that for reference" Again, did they offer to maybe call these providers with me or on my behalf given they talk to providers day in and day out? No. I've tried calling these orgs countless times and it's not easy to get someone live. SAFECO sends you to old brokers who have gone through countless acquisitions over the years its nearly impossible to find this data I am being asked for. This is despite records on the rmv reflecting that I did in fact have insurance! I then asked if I could escalate this to corporate for an exception and if not, would they be willing to honor the 35% discount that I would have otherwise gotten since this seems a little like bait and switch by not setting the proper expectations upfront. This is the response I was provided which should bother any new potential client "Unfortunately I do not have any other options on my end. We do not have any way of talking to anyone at corporate or even fighting the guidelines. Speaking to the underwriters is all I can do and they cannot override any guidelines set by the company. We dont even have phone number to call, everything we do has to be done through chat. We are just a little person in this company and have no control over anything.I cant speak to the conversation you had with Simone, however we are not always immediately notified of changes with the company lines" Let me get this straight...this firm represents Allstate yet they can't speak to anyone at corporate, very well might not know the current company guidelines/policies, and are unwilling to make things right when they know they are wrong.
