On one of the few last Indian Summer days we went to Quitos for lunch. We wanted fried clams but none were available. We both chose the baked stuffed sole with lobster sauce and I had both shrimp and lobster in mine as did my friend. We savored every single morsel. It was a hefty $40. And worth every hard earned penny. Neither my friend nor myself had ever experienced such a scrumptious meal. It came with a potato and a veggie. Sole is oh so easy to overcook but this was perfection!!! If you ever want to experience nirvana in the form of food go to Quitos in Bristol RI and pray that this piece of heaven is on the menu. You will remember it always. Parking: In front of the restaurant. May be more spot very close by

Total scam and a danger for health. We were attracted by the location and atmosphere. After being informed that the seafood platter was $29, we ordered it and we received a variety of fried seafood. Clams had been extracted entirely and, without being cleaned, put entirely (including the grit) in a tasteless batter. We had to leave half of them since they had a weird taste. Afterwards, they informed us that the price of the "fresh" seafood platter would have been $29, but the *fried* seafood platter was $49 -something they had not told us before. My partner suffered from a food poisoning by the clams grit and vomited during the entire night. We will never go again.
