Dr. Etter has been great for me. I've been seeing him for years and he has honestly helped me in many ways. Also, Nancy is the sweetest lady and always has a smile on to greet you. Before Dr. Etter, I had been through many Dr's who would basically just want me to talk and then prescribe me pills that they wanted to, but Dr. Etter actually talked to me and we figured out what we needed. I was on antidepressants, then with some trial and error, we found the right meds for me. I have been off of them for over 5 years now. When I was in a tough spot and didn't have money, him and his receptionist allowed me to go and make payments when I could. Tbh, I probably didn't pay for half of them in a year span, but they didn't just throw me away, but instead let me get my meds and pay what I could. I now have a well paying job and paid it all off and I now never miss a payment. You don't see Dr's do that for their patients very often. For me, Dr. Etter is a great fit because we get each other and he doesn't try to force me to talk about anything I don't want to. He asks the right questions to get the feel of how I'm doing and I share what I want to, when I want to. If you want someone that won't force drugs on you, and if you want someone to patiently try and figure out what you need, I recommend Dr. Etter. Be patient and honest during your appointments and I'm confident he can help guide you in the right direction. PS His dog Zoey is adorable

Highly judgmental and a know-it-all. Forget about telling him about your experiences; he will tell you about your life and why you feel the way you do. Very defensive if questioned or challenged, of even if just inquiring about something in more detail. He shouldnt be practicing in this field. He could do real harm if he hasnt already.

I was rediagnosed with Bipolar Type 2 approximately a year ago. Dr. Etter has simply refused to adjust my meds this entire time. I am currently in the middle of an existential crisis and I am unable to receive any help from him or his office. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR.
