Luthers Welding

I had a Parker boat needing a new fuel tank. Parker didnt engineer the tank compartment very well and the thin original tank was destined to fail. They offered no parts support and told me the only option was to get a tank manufactured on my own. Luthers came highly recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. From the initial contact with Jen, the estimate from Bud and working with Ron in engineering, we came up with a great plan for a tank. Its 50% thicker than the original. They even provided instructions on installation to ensure your tank lasts a long time. They were honest about lead time and finished a day or two early. The craftsmanship of the tank is incredible. The welds are the cleanest and most skilled welds Ive ever seen. Its a shame this tank will be buried deep in the hill of my boat as its a work of art. This family owned business is the real deal that 100% stands by their customers and their product. I have the utmost confidence that the 150 gallons of fuel under my feet, while Im off shore, is in the best engineered, built and tested tank money can buy. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to anyone needing a new tank.

Luthers did a fabulous job fabricating and installing a set of railings that conformed to the Historic District Commissions requirements. Very responsive; they arrive when scheduled. Work is completed on time. I recommend Luthers Welding without hesitation.

As a woman who knows her way around a boat, I was stuck for a place to go for help getting a new gas tank.  Seeing the name "Luthers" as a welding company near the bike path I frequent in RI I thought I'd leave a message as I cycled past on a sunny Saturday afternoon in search of a cup of coffee.The team at Luthers was phenomenal - not only did they return my call the next business day, they made time in their schedule in the depth of a global pandemic to fabricate a fuel tank for me.  I was astounded they got the work done so quickly and perfectly.  The yard that did my repair was so impressed by the quality of the tank, they asked me for the name of the welder.  It's now three months later and the tank is in full service, my crew and I are enjoying it on a daily basis weather permitting.

Bud Luther and his crew have done multiple projects for my company Baltic Boat Works, LLC over the past years - from custom tank fabrication to high end AL marine part fabrication. They have again and again done outstanding work - always on time, always on budget and with great input to our engineering. This is an old fashioned fabrication outfit that is capable of working 100% custom jobs - definitely one of our favored vendors!
