Bouffard Robert DDS

I can't believe I'm inspired to write a review about oral surgery, but I am! I recently had somewhat major work done by Dr. Bouffard - both an Osseous Surgery and a Connective Tissue Graft. I was *sure* that I'd be in pain and miserable for at least two weeks. I was also certain that I'd not be able to tolerate the procedure with only local anesthesia. It's obvious where I'm going here...the procedure took over an hour, but the time truly flew by. I didn't hear or feel a thing. Plus, I had no pain after. Zero. And I only took a half dose of the pain pill the first night, which I probably didn't even need. He is truly a skilled clinician.

I was recently on vacation from California visiting my brother in Barrington. On Friday afternoon, August 9th, I bit into something during lunch that was hard enough to cause my entire left upper incisor (crown) to break off completely at the gum line. Great way to start a 10 day vacation. My brother, sister-in-law, and wife starting calling every dentist in the area. We even went in person to two or three dental offices. No one could see me. Finally, late that afternoon, Dr. Bouffard's office gave me an appointment for 8:00 AM Saturday morning. Though I was relieved to have an appointment, I privately thought that the dental office would not be able to do anything for me owing to the extent of the damage. I was preparing myself to cancel my vacation and head back to California. Upon meeting Jeannette and then Dr. Bouffard, I became encouraged. Both looked at my situation with a fully professional perspective, and they were able to get my crown cemented perfectly back in place. They also fitted me with an invisiline upper molding to provide extra support during meals. I was in and out of the office in about an hour, absolutely thrilled that I was not going to have to head back home. I was fine for the rest of my vacation. I cannot thank them enough for agreeing to see me in the first place and for what they were able to do given my circumstances. Thank you both, and thanks to the friendly staff who got my paperwork completed just as painlessly.

I was referred to Doctor Bouffard for wisdom teeth extraction. He was very professional and not only took the time to explain the procedure but also to reassure and to make me comfortable throughout the entire process. After the extraction and during the recovery, I experienced very little pain making the need for strong pain relief medication unnecessary. I would strongly recommend Doctor Bouffard for periodontic dentistry.

Dr. Bouffard extracted two of my wisdom teeth this week. I was very scared before the procedure. But he explained the procedure clearly. He did it like a magic. After the procedure, I had no pain at all. He is the expert in this field. He and his staff treated me with respect and care. I will certainly recommend his name to my friends.
