Tam does a great job! Im very picky about my nails. Im used to going to nail techs that do nails out of their house (the best people Ive ever been to) and Tam is right up there with them. Theyre reasonably priced, fairly quick and good quality. I have no complaints. (Also dont mind the red marks around the cuticles, I did that, not Tam)

I absolutely love my nails!!!!! I was obsessed with them. Thought this was salon for me, and I had finally found a nail tech that matches my needs driving the distance (55 minutes) from Baltimore just to come to Tams Nail& Spa. The only reason I give 1 star is from the experience I had when it was time for my 2nd appointment I had made multiple weeks in advance. But I agree with other reviews; this salon lacks customer service. Overall unappreciative of people who help make your business a success! Because its review & referrals That has made this a popular place. A family member referred me!!! Im not from the area, I was lost & it was rainy!!During my first appt; I Called in route to apologize that I was running late for my appointment however it Wasnt an issue on the phone when I called or expressed that it was a issue. once I arrived Tam really didnt make it a issue we talked and my appointment went fine based on what I thought. Tam did my nails, no problem! I absolutely loved them!!!! However, I had to abruptly cancel my second appointment turns out after pending Covid results for my child came back positive!Me being considerate to the well being of others due to my exposure.. I called to cancel my appointment citing an emergency 4 hours before my scheduled appointment. Tams husband who is the receptionist; blatantly & rudely said he didnt care about my emergency basically. When I was calling to let them know I wasnt going to be able to make it due to an emergency and asked if I could reschedule he told me no. And that I would need to find somewhere else they were no longer taking me and they felt it was disrespect to not call days before... Disrespect????? For having an emergency horrible. Who can predict an emergency if something comes up??? And why should they be held accountable for that and not be able to get there nails done from ONE TIME rescheduling which would have been my 2nd appt. I was very polite my first visit with Tam. Late or not we had no issue at my first appointment. She even took pictures of my nails once they were done. Imagine that!!! He quoted a policy thats not visible, regarding unforeseen emergencies basically making excuses on why they decided to never take me again which was ridiculous. I even called back to ask him to reconsider politely again!!!! And he stated Tam still said no. I was late once and they will no longer do. That was completely unheard of. I would hate to believe it was a race thing As stated in other comments, but its obvious that people of color well-being is of no concern.With accusations of price gouging!!! Which is apparent, after discussing services with two people whose gotten similar services. I was clueless to other prior reviews, Until now..But supports some of my feelings Theyneed to give clients better treatment. Fair pricing, and create equity for all customers. Fruit/Water is not it, if youre not going to value the people who make it all possible for you. I should have been allowed to reschedule without an issue And welcomed to come back in the near future People always walk In nail salons ; so its not like its a money loss..Just mean spirited..As consumers we have to start hitting business in the pocket, by not patronizing them; when they dont appreciate us!!
