        We came here to get a stone replaced for my ring. My fianc purchased the protection plan on the ring a year ago, and now KAY cant find where he purchased it at. So of course they argued with us for about an hour. They wanted to charge us $400 for THE SMALLEST STONE. We went to 3 other places after KAY told us how much, and everyone else told us the stone is a $80 stone! I do not recommend KAY to anyone! Total rip off. And ignorant staff at York!

The $400 you were quoted accounted for both the cost of the stone and the labor associated with the work that needed to be completed (sizing, stone setting, tightening the set stone stone, cleaning, polishing, and rhodium plating). I sincerely apologize if we failed to communicate that effectively to you, as the cost of our jeweler sourcing the replacement stone is consistent with the price you were quoted elsewhere.
