Terrible company run by crooks. Had a leaking zone valve on our furnace; dude from H.B. Mclure comes out and gives a three thousand dollar quote. Claimed you couldn't buy that kind of valve anymore because they don't make them and the job would take all day to drain lines, plumb in new valve, re-fill lines... blah blah blah. Tried to up-sell me some fancy new valve. So I googled the brand and model number of the valve they supposedly don't make anymore and guess what? You can still get them. They are plentiful. And for 200 bucks and one hour of labor I did it myself. No leaks, no issues. Didn't take all day and the exact same manufacturer's model was shipped to my house within a week of ordering it online. You can't get those anymore, eh? I'll tell you what can't get anymore, HB Mclure - my business.
