The Viewpoint Hotel

My Daughter and I recently stayed at the ViewPoint Hotel and instantly fell in love with the whole vibe. We were fortunate enough to stay in the lower units that feel like you are right on the rocks as the waves are crashing beyond the patio. The entire property is special, but the lower units are just so cool, techy, modern and comfortable. The entire staff was so very accommodating, nice, helpful and basically just an all around A++. If you want to be close to the sea with spectacular views, a variety of rooms and a Great spot - you Must stay at the ViewPoint. We will be back! Could Not recommend this more!

The unpaved parking lot was very muddy and not easy to navigate with luggage. Although the room looked nice at first glance there were quite a few issues. The bathroom vanity was extremely low and very awkward and the shower had very low water pressure. In the bedroom we could hear water running constantly from other units, the closet door was falling off its hinges and there wasn't a dresser for clothes. We could hear people above us walking around all night. The microwave and toaster were awkwardly placed. The living room furniture was small and uncomfortable. The free wifi barely worked which is unfortunate because cell service is spotty there. The most disappointing part was the obstructed view of the lighthouse from our room.

The shoreside rooms with their modern design and sensibility make for an amazing stay. Secure in the architectural concrete with a wall of windows looking directly out at the lighthouse and ocean beyond, is a magically peaceful way to fall asleep and to again find yourself upon waking in the morn. The shower must be experienced.

I took my fianc away for a couple nights as part of our engagement get away. We loved the room and the people who greeted us were incredibly nice and helped us to our room right away. Upon leaving early on a Monday morning we interrupted by loud machinery being operated right out side our room. We had mentioned the disruption upon check out and we received a phone call with an apology. Our stay was amazing, but a formal text or phone call would've been nice notifying us that there would be activity on the property that morning.
