        The room and view were perfect. Service, staff and food were fantastic. Do not hesitate to book a room. It was a wonderful trip. York / Cape Neddick is such beautiful area.

        It was the first time I stayed here and the staff was inconsiderate to myself and other guests staying here the power went out and when we asked what was going on and how long the power would be out nobody had an answer some guests were asking for a refund and were rudely told NO not our fault I asked why dont you have a back up generator since this is a hotel and has 2 restaurants and the answer I got was its broken honestly I would never come back here or recommend this place to anyone if your going to be on the hospitality business you need to put your guests first

We are sorry that your visit with us fell short of your expectations and hope you will accept our apologies for the inconvenience that was caused by the unforeseen power outage. Upon investigation, we discovered that a blown transformer was the cause of the outage. Unfortunately, the situation unfolded so rapidly that we were unable to provide timely information to our guests. We understand that this must have been frustrating, and are truly sorry. Besides, our team worked diligently to address the issue, and power was successfully restored within an hour. That said, we understand that clear communication is crucial during such situations, and we fell short of providing the information the guests needed.
