        I had a York heating and air conditioner installed almost ten years ago . The unit had a 10 year warranty and I bought a 10 year labor warranty In this period of time the A coil has been replaced three times and about to have the coil on the outside unit replaced. I think the problem with my unit is it is made out of aluminum with no copper in them. What I have been told that if I had to pay for these units it would cost around $12,000 dollars. It is a crying shame things nowdays are not made to last very long. Needless to say I will never get involved with York again.
