Siobhan Ulrich is absolutely horrible, I left crying after telling her my struggles with PCOS and over a year long struggle going from doctor to doctor feeling like my concerns have not been met which caused her to tell me I was offending her!!! Im naked on the table during my exam, an extremely vulnerable situation, telling her all of my issues confidently as I was asked to for my yearly exam to be met with her being defensive and bringing her emotions into my health! Its unbelievable Im so hurt and offended that a health care provider would treat a patient this way. It takes courage and trust to be open the way I was to be met with an argumentative and defensive doctor is unacceptable. Ill never ever return and dont get how shes employed.

Completely useless. I've had an unidentified vaginal issue for a couple years now. Dr. Ulrich's (and really every doctor's) only answer was to throw me on a strong steroid cream and impassively tell me that my issue is autoimmune when I have never once been tested for such a thing. No referrals to specialists or anything. I will be switching providers after getting a second opinion at Jefferson.

I have not been into this office yet however, I have my first appointment scheduled for 2/26. This is my first pregnancy and have not had any prior experiences with an OB/GYN. I called the office in a panic the morning of 2/15 because I noticed light brown spotting. I was reassured that a doctor would call me back. When I did not receive a call, I called in again. I was told that someone will call me back once again. Guess what? I did not receive a call back! This is non-professional especially when it comes to someones health and unborn baby. This is a major red flag for me. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and see how they treat me in the office.

Hear me out as a woman with PCOS the last thing you want to hear from a doctor are you must be on hormonal contraceptives if you want to get pregnant OR carbs are your worst enemy and you can only eat 1 piece of bread There have been countless times several doctors at this office look at me like Im insane for wanting to stay away from hormonal birth control and try to treat my PCOS for its root cause instead of covering it up with birth control. Not to mention- I gave the copper IUD a chance and one of the doctors inserted the iud incorrectly and I was back for an emergency as it got imbedded into my cervix. If you push for any kind of testing they question you and tell you its norma. So ladies.. if you feel something is not right advocate for yourself and never let anyone tell you that you cant heal your PCOS because Ive been on a long journey and have done it without the advice of any of these doctors.

Ive had a positive experience with Dr. Blatt, her nurse Cathy, and other nurses who assisted with the physical exam. saw her twice annually so far. They made me feel very comfortable during the pelvic exam, Pap smear at my very first OBGYN visit last year, bimanual exam, and breast exam. These visits are no fun, but its important for your gynecological health to make sure no gynecological issues arise and to evaluate female development. Dr. Blatt listens to my concerns, has excellent bedside manner, very patient, doesnt rush at all, and is amazing. I would recommend her if anyone needs an OBGYN. However, its difficult to schedule an appointment thats convenient since obstetricians/gynecologists are often on call for delivering babies at hospitals. If youre 15 minutes late of your scheduled appointment, then they will cancel your appointment and tell you to reschedule to avoid delaying others appointments, which can take a bit longer to get in.
