We had Blinds and Designs install blinds in our home during a remodel. They gave us friendly and professional customer service, provided us with quality curtains/blinds, and had an installation process that was both fast and informative. Would highly recommend to anybody.

Great customer service! I went in to look for a replacement part for my Hunter Douglas blinds that broke and the saleswoman Kelly said I could just bring in the blinds and they would send them back to the factory and repair them for free (only a $35 shipping fee). I wasn't aware they had a lifetime warranty. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Our Hunter Douglas LiteRise Duette blind broke (one direction worked properly but the other failed). I called the 1800 number on the blinds and, after a lengthy wait and listening to a really repetitive recording, Hunter Douglas told me to take it to B&D or to a place in New Holland. Since I knew where this address was, I chose Blinds and Designs. HD has a 10-yr warranty on the item in question, and our blind qualified. The only glitch was that I had been told six weeks ago by a male employee of B&D that the fee to ship the blind back would be $35. That amount was quoted again this morning by a HD employee on the phone. When I got to the store, I was told that the price was $50. When I expressed surprise at this amount, the woman who was speaking with me said that I was welcome to send back the blinds on my own or take them elsewhere as she gently slid them back in my direction on the big work table. I accepted the difference, because HD had already told me to use this firm or one other specifically. The interaction was pleasant and the estimate for when the blind would be returned was approximately two weeks. I think two weeks is very reasonable. I'll follow up later and let you know how things went.
