We lived at the Wynnewood for a little over a year and were very happy with most of our time there. Being so close to Narberth and Ardmore, a very responsive team of maintenance and management office, and a very comfortable apartment that really made you feel like home made the Wynnewood a great place to live. Then in November 2023 the Scully Company took over, and things went downhill fast and unfortunately led to us needing to terminate our lease and move out. For about 4-5 months, starting in October 2023, we were dealing with moisture coming through our ceiling in the living room from what appeared to be a leak from rain on the roof. After numerous tickets created and being told that roofers needed to come to fix the roof plenty of times, it led to a consistent leak that showed up on a Saturday in January 2024. We were told we would need to wait until Monday as maintenance was not on site and would not be able to do anything until they had a roofer come out. Fast forward to Sunday night/Monday morning when a large chunk of the ceiling came crashing down in our living room sending insulation and drywall all over (see picture below). Of course, when this happened, we called the emergency maintenance line, and we were once again told we need to wait until the morning for anything to be done while we were sitting with a giant hole in our ceiling and a constant stream of water pouring in. We also sent pictures to property management (Shannon Argo) so that everything was documented. We needed to stay up throughout the night to make sure our belongings did not get damaged from the water and debris that were coming into our apartment. This caused us to need to take off work the next day, and wait for maintenance/management to come. The next day maintenance finally came and cut out a large portion of the ceiling, and we were once again told we need to wait for roofers to come. We now had a hole the size of a car in our living room ceiling and we were being told to wait. No compensation or offer to move apartments was offered to us at this time. Fast forward again through three weeks of back and forth with Shannon and maintenance, roofers coming to fix the roof, and every other week another promise of this should be fixed by next week it led to us being offered to move apartments that would not be ready for another couple weeks. Through all of this, there was still water dripping into our living room and no plan of fixing the ceiling of our apartment. We still continued to pay rent even though we could not use half of our main living area. After needing to physically go to the office to get responses from Shannon and the management team, we decided we needed to ask for compensation for this time we were dealing with the issue. Shannon offered us half a month rent off. Finally, after roofers came again to fix, we were told to wait for rain to see if the roof would hold. It rained and started leaking once again. We then asked what the timeline was now and no clear answer was given. Due to this, we felt it was necessary to ask to leave the Wynnewood and break our lease. Shannon approved this and we are now moved out of the Wynnewood. We loved our time at the Wynnewood before the new management team came in and it is a shame that our time is now tainted by this issue that should have been fixed when our first of many tickets was reported. The management team felt like a toxic environment that seemed to cause a clear divide between them and the maintenance team. Mike and Noel were very helpful through the whole process, and our time at the Wynnewood. The problems reside with management and Shannon Argo. RENTERS BEWARE OF THIS MANAGEMENT TEAM.

Very beautiful apartment that is very dysfunctional. Washer and drier are too small, noisy and don't work well. No other laundry options available. There are no garbage disposals. Plumbing is from 1940s and is problematic. Be careful in the bathroom bc the plumbing sometimes suddenly leaks. Your entire bathroom ceiling can crash down on you along with an avalanche of water and debris. Takes them three months to repair. Tenants are forced to open an Amazon locker account if you want packages delivered. Management people are very personable and seem to be open to "discussing issues ". But they don't acknowledge problems and they don't solve them. The hallways and entry are usually dusty and dirty. And at $2200 per month I expect more. Will say that some of the maintenance people are good- hearted and will help you in a minute. I appreciate that.
