This place is ridiculous I stayed here with my family to see the eclipse and the room smelted like smoke their was lady bugs EVERYWHERE the frost desk staff have a very weird relationship the manager and the supervisor didnt do nothing to accommodate my stay due to the lady bugs and the smell in my room the breakfast staff are very rude the food is not worth the 14$ and change they charge our food was COLD I will NEVER stay here again DO NOT RECOMMEND

I am an elite platinum loyalty member as the IHG chain is my preferred brand. This stay was terrible for relaxation and rest; and definitely not the norm. Kids running rampant - call to the front desk around 3pm; another call to front desk around 330pm. And then again stopping at the front desk on the way to dinner at 430pm - stating no improvement from the running, yelling, and carrying on. The front desk individual kept threatening the kids with telling the parents but never carried through. (it is speculation that the parents were definitely not in the room; were in other rooms; or possibly even at the casino leaving the kids to enjoy the pool on their own) would seem illegal to me, and a poor choice given the world situation tiday . While a change of room was offered to me, and appreciated; I was the one being inconvenienced due to poor behaviors of the kids and the hotels choice not to find and involve the parents and fix the problem! This hotel has a policy of no pets - pets typically behave better than these children; and in hotels where pets are allowed, you are informed you can not leave them unattended - maybe this hotel needs a similar Policy for children? Additionally, most other IHG properties I have stayed in recently have opted for installed soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower. While the small bottles were provided, the installed bottles are more convenient. And, it seems that in more and more of the IHG properties I visited, microwaves and refrigerators were available; but not this property. This may have been a fluke at this hotel. Clearly, they did not handle the situation well. Safety: Underage children in a hotel, unsupervised, is an invitation and disaster waiting to happen. Very poor decision for parents.
