        Very rude and unprofessional front office/receptionist Chris. She'll tell you MULTIPLE times as well, "I'm the office manager." She'll flat out right tell you, "I'm very busy and having a bad day" like it's your fault!!! WARNING: Your conversation with her may NOT be private without your knowledge as she told me herself Dr Colbert overheard the phone call (? wonder who else in the office did that day). Certainly don't follow HIPPA guidelines. Also BEWARE this Chris decides your course of treatment without YOU being able to speak to the dentist herself. For example: After being approved by a claim submitted to Highmark Insurance Co. by Dr Colbert for a crown replacement of a front tooth (specifically tooth #7) the receptionist Chris decided NOW the tooth will have to be pulled AND I would be leaving the office without a front tooth!!! I was referred to this dentist by a compassionate and concerned peridontis only to be treated with disrespect and unwillingness to discuss the treatment plan with the dentist. WARNING: If you decide to see this dentist be prepared for the receptionist Chris to decide your plan of care because even after MULTIPLE phone calls to contact this dentist for clarification...Dr Stacey Colbert does NOT return phone calls even after calling her emergency line!!!!!!

        I trust Dr. Colbert completely with my dental needs, which have been extensive. She is highly competent and balances her skills with a sense of humor that puts me at ease and makes an otherwise unpleasant trip to the dentist more palatable. Her assistant, Chris, is very helpful and personable. I am perplexed by the negative reviews on this site.

      In response to the above Christine an I have worked together for approximately 14 years and she has been an amazing office manager. I have had very few complaints about her, and most of the patients love her. Our office is very small and she is my only employee. At the beginning of each work day she discusses with me all patient requests and needs. She then returns phone calls with answers and needs previously discussed with me. We are HIPPAA compliant and do try to follow all of the guidelines to keep patients privacy. All calls to patients are made from my private office with the door closed. I do come in and out between patients which is how I heard part of the above mentioned conversation. Never did she tell you your tooth needed to be extracted. She explained to you that if our plan for that tooth didn't work an extraction was a possibility. She also explained that we do not have an onsite dental lab, and if you were to lose this tooth it would be several days before we could have a temporary made. She also said if this was a major concern there are dental offices that have onsite labs where a temporary could be made the same day. I always return calls on my emergency line if its a true emergency. Any other calls are to be made to the main office number. If someone has treatment plan concerns we always recommend that they schedule an appointment to go over them. Not all dentists will make all patients happy and visa versa, that is why we ended the Dr. patient relationship. We wish you all the best with your future dental treatment.
