AVOID USA VEIN CLINICS AT ALL COSTS.
While this review is on the West Chester clinic, it is directed to the profit-seeking company USA Vein Clinics. I was mistakenly charged by this office, and USA Vein Clinics has taken no action to correct the error.
Ive been a patient with USA Vein Clinics (previously Vein Clinics of America) for the past six years, beginning when I was 18 years old, and am deeply disappointed by the way Ive been treated. I would not recommend anyone to turn to this healthcare company for help, as they certainly do not act in your best interest, and almost definitely act solely out of their own self interest (money). Avoid this place - go somewhere that cares about their patients.
On January 12th, I was incorrectly charged a $75 no show fee after 1) specifically asking when making the appointment if there would be any cancellation fee and 2) having cancelled the appointment beforehand. For the past 5 months, Ive been trying to contact USA Vein Clinics regarding this error and requesting a refund. And for the past five months, they have been dodging my emails and phone calls. Each time I called (at least a dozen times), I was told that the issue was being escalated and that I would hear back within a certain period of time. At first, I was told Id hear back within 2-3 days. After not hearing back for a week, I called and was subsequently told that the situation was being escalated (again) and that I would hear back within a week or so. This scenario happened every single time I called. When I called on 3/2, the head of the billing department, Enrique, verified with the phone records that when I made the appointment, I was incorrectly told by the representative that there was no cancellation fee. He told me he would further escalate the issue and that I would hear back in a few weeks. I havent heard anything since.
After six years of being a patient, I am deeply disappointed with the way that Ive been treated by this company. Not only did they neglect to refund the amount that they wrongly charged to my credit card as a result of misinformation and poor training, but theyve dodged every single one of my emails and phone calls and have offered no apology or compensation for their negligence or mistake. Unfortunately, after many years of being a loyal customer and offering numerous chances to correct this error, I will not be using services from USA Vein Clinics ever again, and I strongly discourage anyone else from doing so. USA Vein Clinics - if you want to correct this, respond to my emails and return my money which you unjustly charged.
7/25/23 Update:
Per Vein Clinic of Americas automatic reply to all of their negative reviews, I reached out to them via email (again) as they had requested me to. They promptly replied that they had looked into the issue and determined that I was rightfully charged a $75 no-show fee. This is despite the fact that the head of the billing department had previously confirmed that the representative had given me false information and that I was in fact unfairly charged. This company does not care about its customers or its corporate responsibility to them in the slightest.

I cannot give USA Vein Clinics more than two stars. I only gave it two stars because I do believe that the Physician and Support Staff, at the West Chester, Pa office where I have been treated, know what they are doing. However, the priority of this organization appears to be maximizing profits by keeping costs down, at the expense of Patient comfort and convenience. The individual offices where treatment is received have no telephone numbers, and all calls, scheduling, and contact are done through a Call Center. While a Call Center concept may work for a cable company, it does not work in the medical world. Despite having scheduled a non-emergency treatment quite some time ago, I ended up waiting almost 45 minutes in the most dismal surroundings, for the last procedure that I had. When I complained about this, I was advised that this was due to the fact that the Call Center does the scheduling. Also, it is obvious after spending a few minutes there, that there is a serious shortage of staff. This organization does not put Patients first, or care about making them comfortable in any way. For the above reasons, I do not recommend USA Vein Clinics. Patient comfort and convenience should be a concern, and it is not.
