Centaur Construction/Lee Smith from West Chester employed low grade workers from Craigslist.com and a halfway house to work on our beautiful home. Much of the work done was of poor quality and not to code, in fact we failed our smoke alarm electrical inspection to mention just one of about 40 issues with regards to electrical and structural repairs, intoxicated and criminally convicted employees, lack of care taken with our home and materials, broken windows, damaged copper trim and a fire that if not stopped by our vigilant neighbors could have burned down our entire house. My husband and I are totally disgusted by his work ethics, ability to organize and low standards. He repeatedly bounced his subcontractors checks and did not fix the issues we had with his substandard work. We have photographs and written statements by several professionals and four of his own subcontractors to prove and back up our case. He has caused thousands of dollars of damage and billed for work he didn't even start. Please, please, please do not make the mistake we made and let this man near your home, office or business. At present he has multiple lawsuits against him one of which is ours!!
