    We recently purchased a home that came with a whole house generator that was in a Fault condition and had visible issues. We reached out to Slaymaker for an assessment. Jordan Slaymaker responded and thoroughly combed over ever inch of this 23 year old unit making sure it was safe and worth while to keep it. After several hours on a cold January afternoon working on snow under his feet, Jordan managed to produce a clean, strong, and durable backup power source we can trust for years to come. He did this all while pleasantly answering all my questions as I was learning all I could about the unit. His efforts go beyond his company earning a small profit. It means that our family will be safe and comfortable with warmth and food during the longest of power outages. We can't thank him enough.

    3/20/2024: (see review below) 10/28/2020: Crank-up radio tower Leeson Washguard motor had a suspected bad cap. Called Slaymaker who scheduled a service call the follow day. Caleb came prepared to replace the capacitor or motor if necessary. (The motor ran well with manual boost). Bad cap quickly confirmed and replaced. Very professional job with evaluation, corrosion clean-up, cap install and reseal of the covers. Electrical terminals were properly inspected & prepped. Caleb was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Took time to address my questions. Highly recommend. 3/20/2024. (3.5 yrs later) Opted to replace the motor and change worm gear drive fluid for my crank-up tower. Jordan called ahead to alert his ETA which was exactly on time. I was prepared with lubricant and Jordan confirmed the proper motor as requested (info provided prior to scheduling). Motor was in stock. The oil exchange and motor replacement went smoothly with no issue and after electrical hook up was completed, operational check was perfect. However, Jordan noticed a slight rattle and loose thru- motor bolt which had stripped threads. Fortunately this was an easy exchange with an identical bolt harvested from the replaced motor. All bolts rechecked. Had Jordan not been so observant, the old motor would not have been available for part sourcing later. Jordan was courteous, mindful, skilled and thorough in his work. Works well with others (me) & very safety conscious! This 2nd experience with Slaymaker was another positive event. From Matt scheduling and reconfirming the proper motor as specd to a knowledgeable service tech, I highly recommend Slaymaker once again!

    Slaymaker came highly recommended from a fellow turkey grower and I was not disappointed. We had an intermittent problem with our Genset (180kw JD 8.1L) that I could not solve...and I used to be a John Deere mechanic. My experience with them was incredibly positive, from dealing with Matt who asked prudent questions in preparation for the service call to ultimately dealing with Jordan (service technician). It was clear to me that Jordan was determined to solve our problem...that is something rare in today's world. There was a circuit board issue. Turns out the circuit board is obsolete, but Jordan found a work around and got us going. Kudos to Slaymaker.

    It is a long story but not a very good customer service experience. No communication on delivery, found it behind my house after two days and the wrong generator delivered. No call back for days I sure hope they do a better job with their commercial customers than they do for a homeowner.
