Christ’s Home, Senior Services

My family chose Christ Home since our mother had her rehab there in 2018 and 2020. She received excellent care both times. However, this time the care was quite different! My mom was recently a patient at Christ Home. We had a horrible experience!!!! The nurse(s) were rude and insensitive. The nursing care was a disgrace!!! My mother ended up being taken to emergency room after being there approximately a week. She passed away after being admitted to the hospital. I cant stress strongly enough do not use Christ Home for any of your love ones. The loss of my mom and care she received at Christ Home will forever burden my heart!

I enjoyed working here only with the patients but to be honestly its not all but it is some nurses that are Caucasians nurses that have been working their to long that makes African Americans feel very uncomfortable in the working environment....shouldn't matter about the color of their skin because if we are all here for the patients ,then we are a team no matter what the color my skin is .....just goes to show discrimination is still live and active....and diffinitly spreaded throughout this facility....the residents are very sweet and respectful and deserve to get the care they are needed no matter what race the nurse are ....its not right and its unjust and this place wonder y they have such a high turn over ....agency comes in and feel uncomfortable and no wonder y they need new staff ...they need a whole new administration since there allowing such behavior to go on in there facility.....I use to come just to help the patients now....I dont even feel comfortable in the environment, and if I feel it soon ya patients will too....yall need to do better fr ......I believe in karma for all of those who see color smh wish yall the best though, I said my peace

My grandmother was there a yrs ago for short term rehab. One of the nurses were so nasty and mean they made her cry. When we brought it to their attention they denied it and we ended up transferring her. Food was awful and ended up making her sick. The nurse was angry b.c my grandmother kept having stomach issues and left her on the toilet... cut to now we were told it's better now etc. My grandmother needed rehab again after breaking her other hip. They denied her right away! Wasn't going to review but then after this thought hmm better give a heads up.

As a traveling RN who has gone a lot of places, THIS PLACE gets it RIGHT! Very refreshing to work in facility so dedicated to the overall care and safety/satisfaction they all deserve!! Clean, well organized Units. I met several Christ Home nurses and employees who welcomed me with open arms!! Its been a long time since Ive been asked as Agnecy if I needed help let alone have Anne, who is a rock star night nurse go out of her way to make sure I was good. Thanks to all who treated me so kind. Lots of reasons to return! Even more to refer knowing its true to its mission.
