Horst did an absolutely beautiful job in repairing our antique mahogany lattice-back chair which was damaged. He filled in intricate missing sections with matching veneer, made it much sturdier and restored it to its original condition in a very reasonable amount of time. He is definitely a fine craftsman who we would recommend wholeheartedly in repairing your cherished pieces.

Horst repaired two chairs for me, a Thomas Moser chair I inherited from my parents where the seat separated into pieces, and another less valuable chair but with huge sentimental value that had been broken for years. He did a superior job on both, and I enjoyed talking to him about woodworking.

Horst is great at what he does. I had a turn of the century dresser from great grandparents that was flimsy and drawers were in terrible shape. We wanted to use it for a changing table for our new baby on the way. Baby ended up arriving early but Horst was able to have it done early as well, just in time for baby. Now it is in great shape and can be passed down for even more generations. I am so glad I was able to find Horst to complete this project for us. I would 100% recommend Horst for any of your wood working needs.

We asked Horst to repair an antique dresser that was damaged in a move and had been difficult to use for years. He completely fixed it for a reasonable price. It works great and functions better than I ever remember!

I found Horst online through Google and simply went off of the reviews I read. I asked if he could fix a recent art item that I purchased that was damaged en route. Instead of agreeing right away, Horst requested to see if first rather than make any false promises. I really appreciated that. He decided he could fix it and I also asked he build a stand for it so it wouldnt break again. He accomplished all of my requests ahead of schedule and I couldnt even tell where it broke in the first place. Horst is a great person and takes incredible pride in his craftsmanship and goes above and beyond. He is incredibly skilled and wont be going anywhere else if I need something fixed, created, or customized. I highly recommend and I always enjoy working with local people rather than large corporations. (The pictures are repairs and the stand he made)
