Dr. Dalton visited my husband in Mount Nittany hospital on 10/23/20 the night prior to surgery to remove kidney stone. He did not tell my husband his name upon entering his room. He told my husband he needed to go home (even though surgery was scheduled the next day if he did not pass the stone). He then preceded to tell my husband to grow up (concerning the pain he was having). My husband is a grown man who doesn't fake pain to stay at the hospital. Dr. Dalton will never visit or take care of my husband. His bedside manor is absurd.

I am a T5 paraplegic .20 years ago I showed up for a scheduled appointment .I was also 8 months pregnant. I had only been paralyzed for 2 years prior to giving birth to a beautiful baby girl. When Dr Dalton discovered I was pregnant, he aggressively threw his clipboard onto a table . He then proceeded to YELL and harshly scold me for being pregnant. He, very loudly, told me I had no business having a baby. He said he is an able bodied individual and had difficulty keeping up with his own young children. He told me it was irresponsible of me to bring a child into the world as a para. He also asked how my team of doctors planned to deliver the baby. When I told him we were preparing for a natural birth, he became enraged and stated there was no way I could possibly have a natural birth . I left his office in tears, sobbing. It's scary enough to become a mother, especially given I'm a paraplegic. However, I trusted my team of Drs in my small town and they performed extensive research to enaure all would go as planned. I am happy to report not only did I naturally push her out ON MY OWN, but I am a single mother, who lived alone until my beautiful and perfect daughter came home with me. I don't know what type of parent he is that he could not keep up with or maintain control of his children. I am extremely happy to report she and I NEVER had any incidences in which I could not take care of her. I used to put her in her car seat, take her to theme parks, concerts, you name it we did it. I graduated cum laude from undergrad and grad school. Her biological father was never in her life and I took care of her on MY OWN. She is now 19 years old and I couldn't be more proud of her. She never ran off from me or ran up a flight of stairs. For specializing in paraplegia , Dr Dalton sure as Hell does not know what a para can do. We've gone four wheeling, I taught her how to drive, traveled on planes to go to the ocean, as well as Disney World (she was only 4 when we traveled to Disney and her 1st time at the ocean). We've gone on many flights without assistance. Additionally, she and I used to spend hours at the local lake. As she got older and made friends when she started school, I would take she and her friends to the lake in addition to camping. Speaking of camping, she and I went camping every summer for years. Just the 2 of us. You name it, she and I did it. I never allowed my injury to deter me from anything. I DO NOT recommend this urologist at all. My daughter and I have accomplished things Dr Dalton couldn't imagine doing. *the ONLY reason Dalton received a star from me is because the site would not permit me to post this without a star rating. Dr Dalton does not deserve any stars. ZERO.
