Comfort Suites near Penn State

We had a very nice stay at the Comfort Suites near Penn State. It is a wonderful location. The rooms are very large and the beds are comfortable. It was also nice having a sitting area with a couch (that also has a foldaway bed). The rooms were very clean and we really appreciated the efforts to show this cleanliness. For example the tv remote being sterilized and wrapped for each new customer. The pool was nice and clean. Please note that pictures showing a hot tub are old. There is no longer a hot tub. The free morning breakfast was great! Food was hot and there are many choices. Also being able to get coffee throughout the day was very much appreciated. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Mary Jane was our check in person and she was so pleasant. She is a wonderful representative of your establishment. I guess the only negative (minor) is the doors to the rooms there is just no way to close them quietly. So it is a bit of an issue when your neighbors are in and out late at night but oh well. Not sure what can be done. We will definitely stay again.

I absolutely love this hotel for several reasons: 1. It feels like a home away from home. Lovely lobby, cozy fire place and oh so clean and well maintained. 1. Welcoming and caring staff - everyone from front desk to cleaning staff is friendly and helpful( a big thank you to Mary Jane who welcomed us at check in, remembered us from our last stay months ago and helped us get reservations for several more stays) 2. Did I mention Incredibly clean? this hotel takes cleanliness to a whole new level from the grounds to the lobby to the rooms- everything is spotless. Bathrooms are immaculate, linens are crisp and fresh, towels are fluffy, small kitchenette area sparkles, even the tv remote has been sanitized and has a clean wrapper. 3. Location- cant beat the proximity to Penn State and restaurants. Absolutely LOVE this hotel.

Friendly, helpful, and caring employees. We always enjoy our stay! Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Nearby activities: Much to see at State College. Safety: We feel extremely safe walking around town and in the hotel. Walkability: We attend sports events and all are in walking distance.

Mary Jane at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! We felt so welcome and taken care of upon our arrival. She deserves a raise or promotion or something for all her efforts to accommodate us. She is kind, professional, and friendly. Our room was cozy and very clean. We slept well on the very comfortable king bed. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. There is even an amazing path to the woods a short walk from the hotel. Check in was a breeze. Shower has nice, strong hot water.
