Dont go there!!! They charge me for 500 dollars for my first visit in Feb. I had a deep cleaning and teeth filling, and a electronic teeth brush (which was $135). I thought there should be no extra fees until recently they sent me a bill, notifying I need to pay extra 1100 dollars??? Prepared for legal service.

After relocating to State College, I visited Aspen Dental a few months ago. During my initial appointment, they presented me with a bill of approximately $3000 for a deep cleaning, which, after considering my dental insurance coverage, amounted to around $550. Following a month of comprehensive X-rays and a gum disease assessment, I was handed a $3000 bill, with the explanation that it encompassed all aspects of the deep cleaning. Without explaining the details of these charged services, they suggested an immediate payment to commence the first half-month of deep cleaning on the same day. However, upon closer examination post-visit, I uncovered numerous services listed on the bill that were unrelated to the deep cleaning, including oral cancer screenings, fluoride treatments, and expensive products marked up at inflated prices. Additionally, they preemptively charged me for services intended for future visits, despite my decision to cancel them after the initial appointment. Seeking a refund for these unnecessary services became an extensive and challenging endeavor. Despite persistently reaching out through weekly calls and five emails, the promised refund failed to materialize. After two months of fruitless attempts, I was compelled to initiate a dispute with my credit card company to finally reclaim the promised refund. The entire process proved to be incredibly draining and taxing.
