I called Baxter Plumbing on 23, June 2021. I was told that the earliest date for work would be possibly October 2021. In August I received an unexpected call asking if I would be available in 15 min? I was leaving for an appointment, so they said they would call on another day, but didn't. I called on 3, November 2021 and left a message. They said their earliest date would be in the spring, but they would be in touch to schedule an estimate. On 8, December 2021 they called and asked if they could stop by in 20 minutes. Because of the prior lack of scheduling, I agreed. I just received a call with a verbal estimate of $14,850. I asked for a written estimate. He said if I agreed to the price and paid up front- Then, they would provide the written estimate. He mentioned several times how busy they were, and how long they had been in business. Basically, they would be doing me a favor by taking my money and doing the job. How full of themselves... *Once they have your $$$, you have no control unless you give more $$$.
