    We visited Landis' a number of times before making our purchases. Karen was our sales representative at least twice and couldn't have been more patient with us. We purchased a slide-in stove, microwave and refrigerator. We sealed the deal while they were giving a free second year on the warranties, plus, there was a discount because we purchased three appliances at one time. Install was done in October. Their crew installed seamlessly in one day and there needed to be some carpentry as well as electrical work done. We had to call about some issues with each of the appliances and we always received a quick call back if the appropriate person was not always available. Issues were resolved with a visit from one of their service folks or a solution was reached over the phone. We couldn't have been happier with the informative service and helpful staff in all of the departments we've dealt with. We give N. F. Landis a 5-star rating from our experience!

    Had a good purchase for our gas stove over 2 years ago that turned bad when it came time for service. The left front burner knob stopped working (stripped from use I guess). Landis came out and replaced a burner valve and knob, however in the process one of the burner switches broke which they said had seized. The service people were here for well over two hours and on the phone with some support line for much of that time. So I'm not sure if the switch seized or there was a lack of experience with servicing our model (GE Profile). Anyway, they indicated they would have to come back another time, but it was still a $340 bill for the visit that did not lead to a working burner. Given our lack of satisfaction with the experience, I contacted the warranty company instead and they sent out their own tech who identified the same switch problem within 10 minutes and came back and quickly repaired the switch assembly. I was left feeling like one service visit was incentivized to take as long as possible for revenue generation, while the warranty service visit (all covered by the warranty) quickly addressed the problem. My bad for not choosing the warranty service initially, but we trusted Landis service would be better. Very disappointed since we purchased from a "mom and pop" store for supposedly better service.
