Evening Star Motel

We have stayed here many times and have always had a very pleasant experience. Anytime we are in need of a room for the night or so, this is the Go-To place for us. We love it! The owner is a Wonderful Lady who goes above and beyond for your accomodations. Really looked out for us. And we Greatly Appreciate it! Highly Recommend! 5 STARS Noteworthy details: Country style setting. Very comfortable rooms with everything that you need. Bed was Great Bathroom also. Nice TV with lots of channels. Very Restful!

Always an enjoyable stay. This is a simple hotel that takes you back to the old route motels. I stay here a lot for work and have never had a bad stay. The beds are clean and comfortable. The wifi is easy to connect to. The rooms have fridges and lots of TV channels. The shower heads have a lot of pressure and plenty of hot water. The rooms are older, but very well maintained. At the end of the day it is a good night's sleep for a good price.

Came home from out of town for funeral place looked abandoned other then the owners car and another guest. The owner was questioning why we wanted to stay at the hotel for some reason along with a lot of unnecessary questions. Room was ok for the price ac didnt work was only in room for maybe 5 hours and didnt even end up spending the night there. Got back at 9am check outs at 11. Again only owner car and guest next to our rooms car. Before check out at 11 we decided we wanted to stay another night we go to the office no ones there call the owner tells us we cant stay because our rooms rented so asked for another room said they were booked. If it were true no big deal. They have about 15 to 20 rooms and no one was there but one car. When we went to go leave my gf locked our car keys in the room where we were told to leave key to room so called owner and she said she was in Pittsburgh but 15 minutes prior when we called to book the room again she said she was in the office. Mind you slippery rock is over an hour from pittsburgh. I had to jimmy the lock with a card to get my keys cause all she said was Ill do the best I can. Drove by 8 hours later and not 1 car was in the lot. Idk why they dont want people staying here or if this business is just a front for some shady things or what.
