Paid $588 to Barbara Gay on March for a Gettysburg/Hershey trip beginning of June. She cashed check right away. Received an email a few days ago saying they are short people and don't know if they are going. She should have waited to cash my check as there was still time. I emailed her to ask if not enough people, why cash my check? No response from her. I sent another email saying I want my money back. Still no response. I called her yesterday and told her again I wanted my money back. She said they are trying to get a smaller bus because not enough people. If not enough people and looking for a smaller bus means nothing to me. I WON'T recommend this group. Sounds like a scam and I'm out money

Stacy, our driver for the LaFayette NY Senior Trip to New York City on November 27, 28, 29, 2023 was the best driver/hostess, detective, and friend we have ever had. Getting us around The BIG CITY was amazing, She even discovered the WiFi trouble & solved it. She showed us true patience at all times.. Thank you.

We recently returned home from a bus trip to Maine. Although we did get to see some beautiful rocky coastlines and lighthouses the majority of the trip was disappointing. We spent entirely too much time in the tour bus. The drive through Perkins Cove was pointless.This spent the drivers travel time for nothing.We should have stayed in Old Port shopping and then left for dinner. We were extremely disappointed in our tour of Acadia National Park. The tour bus was too big and couldnt navigate through effectively with no places to pull over for us to get out and enjoy the scenic overlooks. 15 minutes on top of Cadillac Mountain was just not enough. It also didnt make sense to leave Bar Harbor to go to Northeast Harbor another town to just return to Bar Harbor for dinner. Also the restaurant in Bar Harbor had no reservation or payment for a meal for all of us. Thankfully our tour guide was able to resolve this with White Star and our meal was paid for after the restaurant accommodated us. We had one hour to spend in LLBean which is not enough time and no time to spend sightseeing Freeport because we had to get to see Eartha which was not a real sightseeing destination in my eyes. All in all a very mismanaged trip by White Star Tours.
