So my fianc rented from these scamers and I'm shocked that "nobody" in law enforcement is looking into them. After her lease was up, we helped her, shampoo the rugs, clean the hole apparent, cleaned all the appliances, and put new stove covers. So when they sent the security deposit, it had almost $700 from almost $2000 deposit missing. When asked, they sent photos of a dirty oven, and microwave and some dust on the counter top plus one small blind that had a slab bent. So I showed them pictures of when she first moved in and it was the same as when we left, that stove and microwave had stains that wasn't removable. So she was deducted $700 for get this "cleaning". We could've took them to court because of the before pictures we took but my fianc just wanted to be done with them. So please stay far away from this reality or get scared. They need to be investigated and shut down.

Avoid this place if you can. Its terrible. Ive lived here for 5 years because rent was really low and the area I lived at was always quiet. BUT there were issues. For one we constantly had a mold issue. There was mold in the living room ceiling and maintenance came and cut a hole in the ceiling to fix a pipe. Then we had a bad leak in the kitchen. Our chandelier had water shooting out of each hole so we couldnt turn on the water and there was so much water leaking that the whole kitchen floor was soaked. We called and made a work order and it took a month for maintenance to come. I say 1 month because we brought it up a second time and they finally came. They switched the chandelier and fixed the issue but we had a leak again in the kitchen close to where the last leak was and they cut a hole, fixed the pipe and covered the whole with a big piece of wood because the guy didnt feel like properly fixing it. We became friends with one of our neighbors and found out that they also had a mold issue. Seems like alot of the apartments probably do. Maintenance fixes the issues the cheapest way possible which is why youll constantly come across the same issue. Management is terrible. They can comment and give there opinion but its got low ratings for a reason. I could go on and on about the issues Ive had but this review is already long enough. Please avoid this place especially if you have kids. Now theyre trying to say I gave my bad review due to it being sent to Collections which is not true. Yes my review is almost 2 years later but I wanted to give my two cents so I can save other people from renting from this terrible property. I hope they honestly get shut down. If you do end up with a good apartment then itll only be a matter of time before you start seeing all the downsides like the mold. I dont care that it was sent to collections personally and I have no issue paying for it when I have all the money saved to pay it all at once but please avoid this place. The mold will only be the start of your problems

I previously didn't actually write anything with my 1 star, but I feel like I have to. While you can't legally call them criminals, their practices are morally questionable to put it lightly. I had just moved to York County and picked them and at the end of my first and only lease, I got a non renewal letter with absolutely no explanation whatsoever. They cited an "inspection" that I didn't know about, and they shared no details about it. Well I have since moved on, but I see a post on one of the York County Facebook groups about these people doing it again up in Manchester en masse. The post and comments highlights that the operators of Village Realty are looked upon as a criminal enterprise by most in the community, but I write this review for anyone who may be moving in from out of town like I did. Pick anyone else.

Nobody is permitted to keep trailers on the property. You parked one and were asked to remove it, and you were uncooperative about complying with the terms of the lease that you agreed to. We have the same rules for all of our residents.

Hi Carlos,We do not recall having anyone show us their move-in photos recently, but we'll be happy to take a look at them and re-assess the charges. Please have your fiancé reach out to us at our main office and we'll be glad to try to assist her however we can!

Crystal Garcia-Soto and Caleb M. Hewett,We do our best to fix all maintenance issues in a timely manner. You're just leaving this review almost 2 years after moving out because you never paid what you owed when you left, and now you're finding out it was sent to collections. That seems to be the common thread with most of the 1-star reviews we receive. We wish you luck with your next rental. To any potential landlords doing a rental history check, please feel free to reach out to us for a reference!
