This was our first time dealing with hospice. From the first phone call until the very end, the experience exceeded my expectations. Sherri and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure the process was as easy as possible on us. Not only for the patient (my grandmother) but also for the family.

Dr. Carolina Vasquez and the staff at Tower Health at Home in Berks County have been a godsend to our family. They assessed and guided my sister and I thru this process lovingly and with great compassion. We felt at ease knowing our mother was in caring hands during her final days. These are very special people and we feel the deepest gratitude for all of them.

I had my mother on Tower Health hospice for 2 weeks after a stage 4 terminal cancer diagnosis. I switched hospice providers after the second week. The first day I had to call to find out if everything was set up for when mom was discharged. I asked if a nurse would be meeting us back at the assisted living facility where she lived? I was told I wouldn't see/talk to a nurse that day, "Maybe" I would see one the next day. MAYBE?? I had to fight to have the nurse meet us when mom was discharged from the hospital, and get her set up. The administrating nurse made a list of needed supplies, (i.e. diapers, bed pads, pressure pads) and never ordered them. I had to call to have them ordered (nearly a week). I was told I would receive phone calls with updates since I couldn't be with my mom every day. I got 2 calls in 2 weeks. Hospice is supposed to help take the burden off the family, not add to their stress! My next question is if they did this to us, who else are they neglecting? What of the patients that have no family to be their advocate? This was completely unacceptable as far as I was concerned.

Very helpful and attentive for the first two weeks. Now I'm in my third week they seem to have forgotten me. I'm not happy with them now.
