Today was my grandfathers funeral and Lutz Funeral Home made his celebration of life such a comforting experience. My grandfather looked so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you so much Lutz Family for everything.

My dad had a place in mind.. but my best friend recommended Lutz.. it was the BEST decision I made that day.. best money spent at a terrible time.. it wasnt about the money.. they covered the cost (with arrangements set up) but spotted.. gave local business.. business.. but the overwhelming feeling of care was there ooo it gets better.. my mother passed in August.. I had an angel ornament for my Christmas tree left on my door step.. lutz family/team youre amazing and I hope everyone gets the feeling I got even at the worst time.. you are amazing, thank you from the bottom of my heart.. I could never ask for more

Picking Lutz funeral home for my moms funeral was the best decision. They were wonderful with everything. Im on a budget and they helped me to make my moms funeral beautiful without the extra cost. They explained things to me and made sure I was ok as well. The funeral was perfect, and my mother looked beautiful. Lutz will forever have my business and I highly recommend them for this occasion. Thank you so much for making this day perfect!

So while no one ever wants to have to deal with a funeral home, dealing with the staff at Lutz's was painless. My parents had previously pre paid at another facility. That facility tried to gouge us for an extra 4k for a service, stating that costs had increased. ONE call to Lutzs resolved any worry. Our mother was treated with respect and compassion. The staff here was responsive, while still compassionate. Every request we had was met, even in our quarantine time. I would never hesitate to call on this team ever again

In the late 1970's My parents made a very wise decision and prepaid their funerals with Lutz Funeral home family. In 1986 they relocated to Texas and my father passed away last week in Texas. With one phone call to John, the preparation for dad to fly home to Reading for his funeral was done in a very professional and empathetic way. They picked dad up at the airport to transport him to the funeral home in order to prepare him for the funeral. John, Gina and Emily kept in close contact with me for every step of the way. During these tough times along with Covid and limited family member attending, they went above and beyond what I was expecting. There are many other things they assisted me with and I can not thank them enough for their kindness in my state of grief.
