Dollar General

One of the new managers gave me a hard time and refused me from purchasing cigarettes. I am 58 years old. Isnt there comin sense training!? I shopped at your store almost 3 days a week . Ihavnt been back for 3 months. She was rude. She told me I cant buy cigarettes and that is why she is here because others weren doing the job. I was was just running in to grab stuff shopping with my sister while she ran into redners. I left my id in car. I had my debit card.

This store is interesting - it truly is like a legitimate "general store". There's a bit of everything here like cramming a major department store into the frame of a dollar store. They have socks, underwear, pillows, food, etc But for anyone that assumes that it's another dollar store - don't. That part of the stores name might be a bit misleading. A lot of items range from $5-$10 but I definitely saw some items listed around $30 - so pay attention to the prices when there. A lot of the item prices weren't impressive and there are many local options to get most everything that's there for a better price. Several of the store's letters in the exterior sign were not illuminated when I approached the building so I might have walked through the doors with a bit of bias but I was impressed with the variety and inventory on the shelves. Most everything was well stocked and there was a good selection of items to choose from. One thing that was odd was the lack of any music in the store. I didn't think too much of it at first but then I realized that it was eerily quiet. For most of my shopping trip, there were about 4 or 5 people in the store - but you could have heard a pin drop with the silence.. personally, I guess I prefer the silence to xmas music or religious music that I've heard at other local stores but maybe something over the speakers would make for a better shopping experience. I found some cool and unique items at good prices but I'm curious about this business in its location. It would make a lot more sense in a remote and rural location than this shopping center near many other department stores.

It's a Saturday February the 12th. I went to the cashier who has a attitude before I even put my items on the register. She Beginnings ringing. I stop and look up as she's begging she has three separate items of paper plates in her hand putting in a bag continue to ring me out took sanitizer handball cleaner and put it in with my paper plates. I said to her why would you put that in the bag with the paper plates? She goes on to say I had a bad day if you want your stuff back to certain way then you tell me. I said okay but common sense I would think you would not put that in the bag off of something that you eat off of. The manager mark told me I had to leave the store and refused to sell me any of my items. Now I've been shopping there for 6 years. These are new faces that I never saw before. I would like to have someone get in contact with me because I do not like the way that I was treated in a public place. Ameliating me and putting me out of a store in front of all the other customers. Ask them to call the cops. And they refuse
