Unfortunately this business has horrible follow-up care after the primary appointment. After $78. just for medication to clear up a skin infection due to allergies, this office has not responded to my request for further instructions. The vet mentioned that my 17 month golden doodle would need an additional medication if his itchy skin returned. It did 12 days after his initial appointment, and still no orders from the vets office as of 11 days after finishing the initial round of treatment. He's already scratched his skin open despite every effort on my part to keep him from uncontrollable scratching. Short of this business closing, there is absolutely no acceptable excuse for leaving their pet patients suffering! Without a change of business ethics, they will lose our business which involves two dogs. Based on this experience, it doesn't appear that they are the least bit concerned about losing business or the wellness of our pets.

Its my understanding that there has been an influx of new patients. I have a senior dog (tomorrow was supposed to be his 14th birthday) that my family brought in for examination last week. He has had a URI for weeks and X-ray images revealed a mass on his stomach that is about the size of his liver. His bloodwork showed he was anemic at the time his blood was collected, meaning he had to have been losing blood somewhere. However, my folks were told that he is in good health. Here we are a week later, our dog isnt eating, drinking, can barely stand, and has labored breathing. Not to mention the internal bleeding. We were given a call 10 minutes before our euthanasia appointment only to be told they did not have the drugs required for putting him to rest. Having worked in vetmed myself, I know how strict the DEA is about keeping inventory of those drugs. Im embarrassed for whomever is responsible for inventory because they should have recognized much earlier than 10 minutes prior to the appointment that their office was not prepared to follow through on their commitment to care for our family dog and their patient. We were left to scramble and find another office that would help us last minute. Dont take on an amount of patients you cannot handle, plain and simple.
