One year ago I would have given her a great review. She gave wonderful care to my ferret. My ferret passed and I got a phone call from her receptionist stating she was trying to run a refill of a prescription through our care credit and having trouble. I stated my ferret passed and I couldnt understand why they were refilling a prescription that I hadnt requested. She said Dr Cox who apparently owns the place requested her to run it through. She said she would talk with her. I get another call from this Dr cox going off on me that I am not welcome there if I talk that way to her employees. Haha I didnt get this because I wasnt rude! What a psycho!!!! I had heard she was a rude crazy person to her clients but now I realize what people are saying. I recommended several people to her and I am in the veterinarian and animal and grooming business. I know many veterinarians and people ask me for advice on where to take their exotics. I believe she is a good Dr but dont walk but run away if you have no other alternatives. Her handling of situations in a calm manner is horrible. I guess too she believes her receptionist over her human clients. Crazy!!!! I told her she doesnt have to worry about me returning or referring anyone else to her. She is a disaster!!!

I came in on December 5 it's taken awhile to write this because it still hurts but I came in for my Nellie Cat my Bella who was having trouble breathing and lost weight way to quickly to find out she had a growth around her heart or lung I honestly don't remember because that's not what you want to hear about your Cat of 12 years surgery wasn't an option because it would be to much on her so the only option was to end her suffering I cried may have screamed a little bit but I didn't feel judged I felt they cared here even tho it was the middle of the night and everyone wanted to go home I didn't feel rushed and I appreciate the time you all gave to me in that moment.

Thank you for being here for Pittsburghs chinchilla owners! We dont have a lot of exotics vets and its lovely to have one so close to home.
