We love this school so much! Our son started when he was just 1 and just turned 2. Were so impressed with the kind staff, curriculum, and great community our kiddo is exposed to each day. I always feel safe leaving him, and know hes doing well. The vibe is really upbeat and positive. Theyre very careful with Covid and provide clear policies. They offer back up care on days theyre closed. We have another child on the way and look forward to having him join. Location is also excellent.

Our son has been going here for almost a year now and he simply loves the place. The teachers always give constructive feedback and we feel grateful for the safe environment they provide to him. The multicultural curriculum is also proving to be excellent for his overall development. We couldnt have asked for a better place for our family!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of enrolling my children at L' Asilo by La Scuola d'Italia Galileo Galilei, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with other parents considering this facility. My expectations were high based on their marketing promises, but the reality fell far short. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the facility left much to be desired. It's disheartening to see a daycare center neglect basic cleanliness, especially given the importance of maintaining a healthy environment for young children. The staff's attitude was another major letdown. The caregivers appeared disinterested and unengaged with the children. There was a distinct lack of enthusiasm and warmth that one would expect in a childcare setting. It felt like the staff was simply going through the motions without any genuine concern for the well-being of the kids. Communication was a significant issue throughout my child's brief stay at L' Asilo by La Scuola d'Italia Galileo Galilei. I never received updates on my child's activities, meals, or general well-being. Finally, the billing process was unnecessarily complicated. This lack of transparency added another layer of frustration to an already disappointing experience. In conclusion, my time with L' Asilo by La Scuola d'Italia Galileo Galilei was marked by subpar cleanliness, disinterested staff, poor communication, a lack of educational focus, and billing issues. I would strongly caution any parent considering this daycare center and encourage them to explore alternative options that prioritize the well-being and development of their children. We are so grateful for the wonderful care our son received at L'Asilo! The staff were friendly and clearly took the time to get to know each child attending the center. They even offered unique learning opportunities like raising butterflies from caterpillars and having a firetruck visit (so cool!). Our son spoke fondly of his teachers and clearly had great connections with them! It was a little tough for our family to plan around closures on holiday and professional development days, but we know this time was an important part of maintaining great care for the kids. Most importantly, these closures were noted well in advance -- no last minute closures like I've heard other parents experiencing. We had to change childcare due to other circumstances, otherwise we would have loved to continue attending. L'Asilo will always be special place for us.

The above review does not accurately reflect L'Asilo's policies or operations. This is an unfortunate instance where a family did not want to follow policy, which was clearly included in all documents and communications. Our staff are highly-qualified professionals with combined decades of experience, hours of training and professional development, and love for all of our students. We have a very strict child-interaction policy, meaning teachers interact constantly and positively with all students, implementing our unique extensive curriculum in a language-immersive environment. We communicate constantly and consistently with all families. Teachers use an app to send reports, pictures, and updates to families throughout the week. Parents are also able to message teachers directly using this app. Monthly newsletters are sent to parents via email. We hold two parent conferences every year, and parents are always invited to speak to teachers at drop off or pick up. We take communication very seriously, because we recognize that sending your child to school is a big decision for parents. Claims about cleanliness are demonstrably false. We are a Keystone STARS rated facility and in compliance with Pennsylvania DHS. We have an internal indoor-outdoor shoe policy for staff, children, and all visitors, where everyone changes their shoes into clean inside shoes and all visitors wear booties over their shoes to keep the floors extra clean, for all who enter the facility (students and staff). All students and staff wash their hands constantly (before and after meals, after bathroom or diaper changes, after messy activities, and after any sneezing/coughing/etc.). All eating surfaces are cleaned thoroughly before and after meals and after messy activities. We track communicable illnesses and implement a hospital-grade sanitizer sprayer, if there are any instances of illness. We also have a private cleaning company come in every night to clean and disinfect the facility. In addition, we also have an extra expert carpet and floor cleaner company come in once a year and when needed to do a mass extensive cleaning of the entire facility floors.Again, this particular review does not accurately reflect our policies or operations. We welcome any families interested in learning more about our facility to send an email to [email protected] to schedule a tour.
