Days Inn by Wyndham Pittsburgh

Cheap hotel with a cheap experience. No carpeting. No coffee maker. No bathroom fan. No breakfast. No one on duty after 11pm?? Video cameras with notes posted threatening guest evictions. Very uncomfortable stay.

Its a rundown motel that was bought by Wyndham. They need to invest more money into its upkeep. The floors are uneven and the carpets are stained. There are many issues with the amenities, such as broken lock doors, and faulty, shower heads, etc. That said, the staff is excellent, they are friendly and go above and beyond. Particularly Amira and the young man day clerk were exceptional. They were helpful and friendly, and provided a great experience overall. They are clearly the assets of this hotel. Aside from that, it is centrally located, 15 minutes away from all major attractions that we required. There is no gym, no room service, no coffee in the room, no bar in the hotel, etc. Do not expect an upscale experience. Luckily, the price reflects that. Rooms: The rooms have no carpet. There are hardwood floors instead, which allow them to mop them in the morning, but it doesnt allow for a comfortable experience. There were problems with the showerhead and locks (The lock was broken off the door, and the bathroom door did not shut completely). Safety: There were no major safety concerns while we were here, although we did suspect there Were illegal activities going on in the rooms beside us.
