The price is decent but I wasnt expecting my experience to be as bad as it was. There was human feces in the elevator. It caused the entire place to stink. Then around 12:00 am an alarm started going off throughout the building. The rooms also arent the cleanest either.

Terrible. Everything, I'll just leave the photos that speak more than I could say.
Asked for the refund on booking and went to a hotel.
Could surely get some disease from staying there.

My partner and I recently stayed at Stay Pittsburgh for a two-night visit starting December 2nd. However, upon entering our room, we were met with significant disappointment. The room was clearly not properly cleaned, with dust, dirt, and hair scattered throughout. I could attach photos but they truly are really disgusting, I don't think anyone needs to see.
Upon notifying the management, they were understanding and acknowledged the poor condition of the room. They even mentioned that our room was the worst in the building. Despite their attempts to find us alternative accommodation, we had no choice but to stay due to the lack of available options in the city. We were assured of a full refund, given the unacceptable condition of the room, including the need to discard a rug due to its unsanitary state. They also left cleaning supplies with us which I had to use to take a clean shower as the shower was covered in hair.
Unfortunately, our experience did not improve, prompting us to leave prematurely and forego our second night's stay. We embarked on a six-hour journey at night in awful weather conditions just to avoid spending another night in those conditions.
Despite assurances of a full refund, both verbally and via email, the process has been frustratingly slow. I've had to email countless times and have been on the call for hours to get this refund back. While I am grateful to have received a partial refund on February 17th, almost 3 months later, it falls short of the commitment made by the management.
This has been one of the most disappointing hospitality experiences we have gone through. I hope things change for future guests.
