To start, our project was a full kitchen renovation. This included new cabinets, flooring, lighting, and the removal of a load bearing wall. All of which was delivered before the arrival of our daughter - which seemed like an impossible task when talking to other contractors. AKN Interiors was able to complete our project on time and within budget. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship are unmatched. Andrew and his team were professional, experts in their trade, and showed care for our house by leaving a clean environment at the end of each day. Open communication was kept throughout the lifetime of the project. No matter the question, or concern, Andrew would always provide insight in a professional, timely, manner. The ideas and execution Anderw brought to the table were exactly what my wife and I were looking for. This included hiding the new load bearing beam within the ceiling - allowing it to be flush, positioning the backsplash in a unique way that brings more height to the space, implementing under cabinet lighting and installing an air switch for our garbage disposal. We also elected to add overhead lighting within the living area to brighten and tie the kitchen and living room together. This was a last minute addition that really warmed up the space. Friends and family that visit are impressed with the transformation and have done nothing but complement the quality of craftsmanship and care that went into renovation. Theyve even asked that we share AKNs information so they can start tackling their own home renovation needs. We cannot express how happy we are with Andrew and team and intend to use AKN interiors for future projects within our home.
