Tried to give them a call and introduced myself as owner of a small development company. Without me finishing my introduction, the lady who answered the phone immediately cut me off and told me "we don't work with realtors, we only work with owners" (seriously.. did you even listen?) Then I explained that this is a multi-unit residential. And again without letting me further explain more, she cut me off again and started educating me - "we only work with single family" and requested that I remove their name from my list. She was treating me as if I was wasting her time. Given all the awards and reviews of J Francis, to me this was a surprisingly unexpected & disappointing encounter. I've been on the phone with 5-10 mid-size general contractor and construction company over the past 2 weeks, and by far this is the rudest conversation I have had. It's hard to understand what gave them the ego and entitlement to treat new customers in that way. It's so bad that I'm willing to spend another 10 minutes and writing down this honest review. My honest suggestion to the owner is that they need to get another person handling the phone calls. Sometimes it may be a family member who handles this job and it's tricky to remove them, but keep in mind: it just take one bad apple to wipe off years of good reputation and hard work. The call came in 02/08 around 10am EST.
