AHS is the best study aboard agency! They find the best high school and the best host family for me! They hold lots of actives like Chinese Mid-Autumn festival party, skating and tutoring for applying to college. I felt like stay with my family. The staffs in AHS are patient, wise and nice, they helped me a lot!

Not the best experience ever. As a host of this company we were subjected to a student who lied about their VISA and coming to the states. The Oregon rep was told that their reason for coming to the states was to find a job and not for educational purposes. Even though this was stated to the Oregon rep they proceeded to still place them in our home. Upon their arrival they complained immediately about financial issues, asked for a reduction in payment and to be taken off meal plans. Student then asked from us a way to help them find a job, starting dating in the hopes of producing a child that would prevent the authorities from deporting them. We got dragged a s a family inot this unknowingly and was told we might have to be interviewed by the FBI and other government agencies. All of this because we had hoped to simply host a student and have a wonderful experience. Interviewer even admitted that they did not properly follow procedure and allowed this person and their issues into our home. Simply unacceptable and unprofessional on their part. I would recommend against the use of this organization.
