Matt helped us throw the greatest dance party we've ever attended! He did such an amazing time at playing hit after hit that the dance floor was never empty. Professional, responsive, and with excellent taste in music, your reception / party will be better than you imagine when working with him!

Matt was fabulous. He had everyone dancing all night at my daughter's wedding. He played a great mix of music. We could not have selected a better DJ and photo booth service.

Matt was the DJ for our wedding. BPM Deejays was selected for quick communication, flexible packages, and solid equipment list. Also, important to us was the person we were talking to was going to be the DJ. A few we contacted couldn't say who would be the DJ when the wedding came until a month or so out. Matt was the first one to respond and was the only person on the communication chain which we appreciated. It has been a couple weeks now since the event, so I have had a chance to ask our guests what they thought and after multiple of the same comments back have decided to write this review based on what our expectations vs experience was. I was very upfront about what we were looking for in a DJ: 1) No playing remixes, No live custom mixing (Just play the songs as people know them) 2) Change the song if it was clearly not working & only take requests if they make sense (No chicken dance, or electric slide) 3) Play a very specific song for my wife for her Bridal dance. Those were the up front expectations, and nothing I feel that was over reaching or being too excessive in our requests He did let us swap out some options in the package, namely switching the custom initials projection with these "glow baton" things. Which were absolutely the stars of the show. They got Kids dancing, older people loved them even. Had a lot of great feed back on those. As for the rest of the experience... 1 - There was a handful of remixes played (Confirmed by friends & my phones "Google now playing" history) however There didn't seem to be any live mixing which was good. 2 - Had a few comments that songs seem to play out even though there wasn't really any action on the floor, and when there was down time a few friends made requests and was told Matt's response was "This isn't the crowd for that song." from what I've heard, no requests were played. 3 - We provided an MP3 of a bridal dance song we wanted played. On our call, Matt was aware of the specific song and I told him I would send him the file, which I did. He played the version he wanted, NOT the version my wife wanted. Multiple of her family members commented that it wasn't the family version they were hoping to hear.... very disappointed in that. 4 - We provided 2 announcements that were to be made before the introductions. These did not happen. Which led to confusion regarding something we had planned to raise money for the ASPCA. Resulted in me having to go up and give a quick version of the announcement, I did NOT want to have to talk. Again, not thrilled. 5 - There was no direction or announcements in general really from what people commented. Seemed to be no explications to what was going on (Multiple people commented this), if there was, it was over music and was not understood. No mention that the Bar was going to be closing for an hour (One of the announcements we specifically requested be made), nothing for cake cutting, food service, and no explanation at all for people on the bridal dance and how it worked. The DJ was the one service we did not have a direct recommendation from another person on. Relied on general "Googling" and emailing questions. And, we were out of state, we relied heavily on communication and our wedding coordinator. Personally, I didn't think we set the bar that high, but in our opinion, and the opinion of others we talked to, BPM Deejays did not perform to expectations, and will not be recommending them to others. Matt, if you feel any item above was a mis-representation of what actually happened, please feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss. I would love an explanation to the bridal dance song at the least. Also to note, if you are using Soldiers & Sailors, BPM DeeJays is an approved DJ, but NOT an approved LIGHTING vendor. So you will have to pay an additional $75 to S&S if BPM Deejays provides your uplighting, even if its included in the DJ package.

Matt was on the ball the whole wedding! My wife and I booked BPM Deejays for our wedding just about 2 months before the day. Matt became our DJ and he was fantastic the whole way through. We did not have much time before the wedding, but Matt was able to make time for us. He always responded to emails in a timely manner and was willing to schedule a phone call at any time. He was flexible and reliable throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our Wedding, Matt was an integral part of the day. He was prepared for changes when our processional song I picked out was too short and the guests didnt even notice. He took in stride any requests from myself or the guests, but knew that some requests may not have been acceptable and discreetly brought them up to me before any changes. All in all, Matt was a crucial piece to our wedding, courteous and professional! I cannot recommend BPM Deejays enough!
