Vet Tech Institute

The on site kennel made hands on experience easy and rewarding to take care of the animals we were learning from. It was evident that the staff, teachers and administration alike, were keen on ensuring their students succeed in the program while learning in a positive environment. I even adopted my first ever pet from here, and a kitten I help nurture.

Starting at VTI July of 2022 I did not think I would complete the course. After learning restraint, phlebotomy, radiology, microbiology, parasitology, and so much more, I feel prepared to take my certification test. You make great friends (human and animal!). I even adopted one of VTIs kennel pups and brought her home with me. The teachers also create a great learning environment. 18 months goes by real fast and its full of learning and great experiences. I would definitely recommend VTI as the Tech school you go to!

Attending VTI was one of the best decisions I could have ever done. The school has amazing staff and teachers willing to help students succeed in courses and during hands on learning. The classes were tough and required lots of studying, but prepared you for your future career as a Veterinary Technician. I couldnt have made a better choice! Thank you to past, present and future staff and teachers of VTI.

I don't know how anyone could call themselves an animal lover an attend this school. I was ready to cry any time I stepped foot in the kennel. These animals are PRACTICED on and kept in small cages 90% of their time there. Cages were always covered in feces and urine in the mornings as they are ALONE from 4 pm to 7 am in CAGES. It's funny how they would teach us signs of abuse and stress then we would see it in their own facility. The onsite kennel needs to be shut down. They even had a parvo outbreak while I was there and had to euthanize a puppy due to their own neglence. When I finally transferred out of this horrible place my new school took us to shelters to help treat animals who ACTUALLY need it. They should rename the school the animal torture institute. Even though I briefly attended this program I will never stop thinking about the poor animals they abuse there and will always be their voice. Do not go to this school. They should not be allowed to house animals they way they do.

Wonderful staff who will help you feel supported throughout. The kennel program was one of my favorite parts! Great practice
